My name is Jerry Tijerina, I am a bilingual Spanish speaking Broker in Concord Ca, and CEO of my own company World Premier Realty.
Originally born in Texas and moved to Concord Ca in 1988. Married in 1999, and father of 3 wonderful boys.
My 13 years in Real Estate experience has lead me to provide efficient, timely, and dedicated service to my clients. My priority in every transaction is putting my client's interest first and achieving their goal.
Changing careers full time into Real Estate when the Real Estate bubble had burst, my family thought I was crazy and making a huge mistake. Through hard work and becoming a listing agent for Banks, representing many buyers and sellers in short sale, and traditional transactions, helped me gain valuable Real Estate experience.
Buyers: My goals when representing buyers is making sure I educate my clients on the purchasing process, inspections, and my partnership with their lender. Negotiating the best price & terms for my clients is the most important priority for me. Through the entire purchasing process, I am there for my buyers making sure I answer all their questions.
Sellers: My goal when representing sellers is making sure I educate my clients on the Listing process of their property, inspections and working with the buyer’s agent. Giving my clients feedback and giving them ideas on how to prepare their homes for the market is extremely important. Sometimes small repairs can lead to BIG RETURNS. One of the most important elements of listing a property is coming up with the properties home value. I prepare a CMA Competitive Market Analysis on my client's property. This analysis gives both me and my clients a very good idea of what similar properties are selling for in the community. This is where my 13 years of experience and knowledge comes together.
Short Sale Transaction:
Representing Sellers: My experience in Real Estate has given me the opportunity to negotiate many Short Sale Transactions. These transactions can be very difficult for Sellers. Many times sellers are already going through hardship with their properties. I do my best to educate my sellers on all their options when thinking about doing a short sale. I educate them on the Pros and Cons on performing a Short Sales. I make sure to guide them through the process, and answer any questions they may have.
Short Sale Transaction:
Representing Buyers: My experience in Real Estate have given me the opportunity in representing buyers on purchasing Short Sale homes. Many of my clients that purchased a short sale property had very little understanding on what it means to purchase a distressed property. I educate my buyers and let them know if they are on a time constraint, a short sale may not be in their favor because it could take anywhere from 2-9 months to get short sale bank approval and close. On the other hand I also let my clients know that short sale homes can also be very rewarding if they have the patience to wait a little longer.
Lastly, my knowledge in Real Estate has also given me the opportunity to purchase several properties for my own portfolio and flip them for a profit. This knowledge gives me the opportunity to work with my investors knowing that I understand what their priorities are in rehabbing their investments.

Jerry was the partner agent referred to me through Redfin when my wife and I began searching for houses. He reached out immediately, was friendly, and showed us the first few houses we visited in person before introducing us to one of his agents, Earl Dunivan, who was our primary point of contact for the remainder of the process of searching for and closing on our new property. This review is primarily for Earl, as we only worked with Jerry for the first two house showings and then via conference calls with Earl during the offer/closing process. Earl is very friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly responsive and generous with his time. Because of our work schedules, we ended up requesting showings on Friday evenings and so at one point we realized that we had spent each of the last four Fridays with Earl and joked that he was our Friday night date. Because you end up spending so much time with your buying agent, it's important to find someone who you genuinely enjoy being around and Earl is someone we can see ourselves being friends with even outside of this business transaction. There were a few hiccups during our closing process, and as first-time homebuyers we didn't have prior experience in determining our decision. Earl did a great job outlining the choices that we had, the ramifications of various decisions, and ultimately helped us to feel comfortable with every decision we made. It was during these times specifically when we were operating at a significant information disadvantage, and Earl could have tried to downplay certain factors in order to rush the sale through. However, he didn't do this and made sure that we understood what was going on, no matter how seemingly minute the issue was. We have some friends who recently purchased a home and their buyer's agent definitely didn't do this for them -- so this made us realize and appreciate even more how transparent and how good of an advocate Earl was for us. The one thing that felt a bit sticky at times is that although we worked directly and primarily with Earl, it seemed like Jerry as the broker of record was the primary person interacting with the seller's agent. This often resulted in what felt like a game of telephone, where Jerry would call us to ask us about something that we had just told Earl about. We were told by Jerry and Earl that the listing agent for our home purchase was one of the most difficult that they had encountered, and seeing some of the emails he had sent them we can verify this! Our agents navigated the process admirably and with humor while remaining mostly polite, but we did feel that there were some opportunities during these moments to diffuse the tension and these opportunities were not taken. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that when buying a house during a global pandemic, there were some covid-caused delays and changes. Earl did a fantastic job of proactively reaching out to people, keeping us to our timeline (and apologizing for bugging us whenever he called), and continuing to shepherd the process forward. We would recommend Earl Dunivan for anyone else purchasing a home.
