Michael is very good to answering any questions I had during the last 6 months that my house was in market. Sometimes we as clients don’t read all the pages of contract and think our agent could explain it to us eventhow we don’t ask for it . In my situation, the buyer agent who was buying my house for his and his dad investment company ( and nobody told me about this) ! brought his own people to check my decks and said that they are not safe( I think they are safe) and said he pays $10,000.00 and I pay $10,000.00 in closing day and pay it to the contractor. All he did he took $10,000.00 from the price of the house. I am still mad about this and expected my agent do something about it.

Only met once. All went smoothly but for one glitch. Michael's emails were going directly to my delete folder unopened. This had to be a problem with my phone but we had to resolve by Michael texting me everytime he sent an email. A couple of times that was missed.

Overall, Michael is a very pleasant fellow. However, in our opinion, there were some decidedly significant deficiencies in his performance. We had a closing in March that was canceled at the last minute due to the Coronavirus. Michael was supposed to relist the property but forgot to do so for about a month. We only learned of this when other realtors started calling us to relist the property with them. After we had another buyer, there were receipts we had sent to Michael to satisfy the inspection that he did not forward to the seller's agent that caused a last minute scramble on our part. Most of the time Michael was acceptably responsive, but the day before and the day of closing, and without giving us notice, he became hard to contact due to other commitments and travel and had bad... Communication was exactly as needed, not overly aggressive and no panic as we found just the right buyer for my home. The closing process could not have gone more smoothly. Michael perfectly executed the sale of our house. He priced it so we received multiple offers on the first weekend of showings and we ended up selling for 5% over asking. Every aspect of the process was seamless. I could not ask for more from Michael and his team at Redfin.
I liked Michael but I believe I received poor advice at the beginning of the listing. I asked specific questions about improvement that should be made before showing the house, painting, staging with furniture etc.
His advice was that those things were unnecessary. During the listing I had many showing but no offers. I think cosmetic improvement would have made a big difference.
