Old Suwanee, located between Buford Highway (US-23) and Suwanee Creek Park, is a historic and walkable Suwanee neighborhood with a rail-era main street feel and a greenway backdrop. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Town Center Avenue and Main Street intersection, where patios, small galleries, and locally run eateries set a steady, social pace. Community pillars include StillFire Brewing, Ippolito’s, and the Suwanee Performing Arts Center. Streetscapes mix restored storefronts with newer townhomes and pocket greens that keep the setting pedestrian-forward. The Suwanee Creek Greenway threads nearby, linking shaded trails to parks and civic spaces. Seasonal events and outdoor concerts keep the calendar active without changing the laid-back tone.
