The RM multi-dwelling unit residential district is established to provide high density multi-dwelling units in close proximity to downtown major activity centers and transportation routes. The intent of this district is to permit the transition of single dwellings to multi-dwellings where the full component of public and private services are readily available; to ensure adequate off-street parking, bulk requirements, open space and buffering of single dwelling so as to retain the high densities of development. Any multi-dwelling unit building that disturbs the quality and character of the neighborhood will be prohibited.
