If you've been looking for an affordable hunting and recreational property in Southwest Mississippi that is already set up and ready to enjoy, this 43± acre tract in Amite County deserves a look. The property offers a great combination of hunting, timber, water features, and improvements. An excellent internal road and trail system provides easy access throughout the tract, whether you're hunting, checking cameras, working food plots, or simply riding the property. Three established food plots and two box stands are already in place, giving the new owner a great head start for deer season. The timber consists of a good mix of younger pine along with mature hardwoods lining the creek and drainage areas. This diversity provides excellent wildlife habitat, natural travel corridors, bedding cover, and plenty of mast-producing hardwoods. For the buyer looking to add even more recreational value, the property also features an excellent pond site that could make a beautiful addition to the tract. One of my favorite features is the secluded campsite. Tucked away from the road, it offers the privacy you want in a weekend hunting property. A large barn provides plenty of room for equipment, ATVs, tractors, hunting gear, and supplies, while additional lockable storage gives you a secure place to leave your valuables between trips. Location is another major plus. The property is situated close to the Homochitto National Forest, putting thousands of acres of additional public hunting and recreational land within easy reach. That makes this tract an excellent home base for someone wanting their own private property while also having access to a tremendous amount of nearby public land. At 43± acres, this property is large enough to hunt and manage but small enough to maintain without becoming a full-time job. With food plots, stands, roads, a secluded campsite, barn, storage, creek-bottom hardwoods, young pine cover, and a potential pond site, most of the hard work has already been done. If you're looking for a turnkey Southwest Mississippi hunting property, weekend getaway, or family recreational tract in Amite County, come take a look at this one.
