A Piece of Delaware County History, Ready for Its Next Chapter. Some properties offer land. Others offer a story, a sense of history, and the opportunity to create something truly special. This beautiful 20.68 acre property in Delaware County offers all three! Comprised of two 10+ acre parcels, this property provides the space and privacy to create your own country estate, a peaceful sanctuary away from the city. Imagine a winding driveway leading to your dream home, open fields where horses, ponies, or other animals can roam, and a picturesque creek adding to the natural beauty of the land. One of the property's most distinctive features is the 36'W x 40'L barn, full of character and possibilities. The barn features a 12 foot wide, drive thru center aisle, structure for 7- 12' x 10' large stalls, and overhead hay loft storage. The rear door opens to a 10 ft. height. The history of this land runs even deeper. All along the length of the south (back) property line, you'll find the remnants of a Civil War era railroad bed, a fascinating reminder of the property's past. Additional features include a 580 FT long driveway and about halfway back, is a previously used drilled well and some excavation. An overhead electric line previously served the abandoned building site, and later the barn. The power line has recently been disconnected, but stands ready for continued use. Whether you envision a private estate, an equestrian retreat, specific use of the barn, or a mini farm, this property offers a setting filled with character and great possibilities. Twenty+ acres. Two parcels. A barn. A creek. And a story waiting for its next owner to write. SEE A2A.
