Silverdale, located between Dale Boulevard and Minnieville Road, is a residential and commuter Dale City neighborhood with wooded pockets and a retail corridor. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Dale Blvd & Minnieville Rd crossroads, where plazas, casual eateries, and everyday services set a steady, practical rhythm. Nearby anchors like the Hylton Performing Arts Center, Historic Occoquan, and the Workhouse Arts Center add a cultural counterpoint to the area’s errands-and-outdoors cadence. Streets trend toward mid-century and late-20th-century single-family homes with mature trees and curved blocks. Leesylvania State Park and the Occoquan Reservoir frame weekends with shoreline trails and water views. VRE access via nearby stations keeps regional trips on the calendar.
