000 Skull Creek Rd, Osage, WY 82723

Located just one mile east of Osage, Wyoming, this 184 +/- acre property brings together nearly everything buyers look for in a quality piece of Wyoming ground. Access comes from the north directly off county-maintained Skull Creek Road, with overhead electric running east to west along the northern boundary. From there, a two-track dirt road works its way south through the property, providing convenient access to nearly the entire 184 +/- acres. A considerable stand of mature pine timber covers portions of the acreage, broken up by open native grass country, rock outcroppings, draws, and natural pockets that give the property plenty of character. Near the heart of the property sit two reservoirs, each offering something different. One is surrounded primarily by native grasses and open country, while the second is tucked among cottonwoods, willows, and cattails, creating excellent waterfowl habitat. Several additional areas across the property hold noticeable ground moisture, presenting potential for further spring development. In a year when drought conditions have put water at a premium across much of Wyoming, having multiple existing water sources adds considerable value to the land. The combination of water, timber, rock outcroppings, and open country creates stellar mule deer habitat, offering the cover, feed, and water needed to hold quality deer. The property lies within Wyoming Mule Deer Hunt Area 6, which offers General license hunting opportunities for Wyoming residents, and Region A for nonresident hunters. Two landowner mule deer tags are granted annually with the property. Whether you're looking for quality hunting ground, a secluded place to build, or a sizable land investment just outside of Osage, this 184 +/- acre tract checks a lot of boxes that are increasingly difficult to find in one property.
