Without Eva?s quick and comprehensive work early on, we would not have been able to make an offer as quickly as we did. We would have missed the opportunity to make an offer to get the house we eventually did. And she and her team kept on top to make sure everything was ready for underwriting. To give an idea of the speed, it took three days from when we decided to start looking for a house, to get a preapproval letter that allowed us to make an offer. And all this happened over the Christmas holiday, and we had never met any Equity before so everything was done from scratch. It took Bay equity only a day to work through and get to a preapproval letter (Dec 26th introduction to Dec 27 early afternoon preapproval). This same letter was useful when we decided not to pursue the first contract and entered into another on Jan 2nd, a week and a half after we started to look. We closed on Feb 2nd and Bay Equity kept on top of the readiness and accuracy. Eva also kept providing options and giving me information on not only what was possible but why. The team also had the right amount of communication- very professional and efficient but also friendly. If they communicated an issue, I knew it was important. I feel good about the loan options and I know Eva was able to find options that other mortgage brokers either did not know about or had written off as not possible or had not even responded. (I had contacted two that I had worked with before. No one responded in the way Eva did and over the holidays, no less!).

Overall everyone was extremely responsive, and went into great detail answering every question I had. My only reservation was after getting a rate estimate and discussing on the phone and over email that the rate was locked, the actual rate sheet I was sent later to sign had a higher rate on it. After I called, the rate was quickly adjusted back to what we discussed.
