We appreciate the ability to use a credit union instead of a large corporate bank, and Mary helped to make sure that we had everything we needed.

We appreciate the mortgage products that were available through the federal credit union. They were very helpful for new home buyers. Also, it is good to know that our mortgage will be held by the credit union and not sold to the large banking firms in the future.

Mary Nezam at NASA Federal Credit Union was friendly, but failed to stay on top of some key deadlines. Even though we had 2 months, they still came down to the wire. Our rate was very competitive, and she gave no bad attitude about our waiting a few days until we felt there was a low-point on the rate for our time frame. Everything worked out in the end. It makes the most sense to use NASA FCU if you happen to bank with them already, though that's somewhat irrelevant. If you do work with Mary, know that she does not do email well (unless you have 1-sentence questions), and so you will need to call and nag.
