Really pulled out all stops to make closing happen on time.

There were some slow responses and times that I felt I wasn't being heard.

Everything went very smoothly. I have no complaints. They were clear on all requirements and were very accommodating.

Communication was OK but there were typos/errors in closing docs. Everything was ultimately resolved but the experience makes me hesitant to recommend this title company.

Chi was very quick in responding and I appreciated her and her team on their communications on need. However, the one issue I had with the team at Chicago Title Insurance was they did not take into account the timelines we were working with and recommended accordingly. It was as if they operated their recommendations based on a set process - like customer support - vs. a more customized experience tailored to the individual situation. Because of this, we had to run a few more trips to the bank and the title offices that otherwise could have been avoided with better planning. Otherwise, professional and recommended.

It ended up working OK, but we had to push really hard to get things done quickly. This is a large title company and, as with many large companies, they mainly work from 9 to 5...

Pros: - Located locally in San Jose. - Staff was friendly and accessible. Cons: - After close of escrow docs were sent to the wrong address. - Title company did not properly communicate closing details with our insurance company resulting in additional work and accidental double billing of home insurance.
