Berlin Patten Ebling was very knowledgeable about how to process a complex closing. They were efficient and able to provide a broad array of closing options in this COVID environment. I recommend them highly!

Everyone in the office was great to deal with. They have great communication skills and know exactly what they are doing.

Process was smooth and they answered any questions that I had.

The closing agent couldn't complete the closing on the initial closing date, due to delayed land survey. He told us a few times the survey would come back on time for closing, which didn't happen. We had to beg the sellers to sign an addendum to agree with an extension, which is very risky in today's seller's market. Had the sellers refused, we would have lost the contract, our deposit and all the money we already spent on this purchase. The closing agent didn't reply to our email in a timely manner. I had to call my Redfin agent to get some response from him. The closing agent completed the closing on the second time. We had to pay insurance and utilities for a few days on a house that we hadn't own yet. Other than failing to close once, the quality of their work is OK. I will not use this firm again, and wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

Overall a good experience, however I didn’t receive the information I needed for closing until 18 hrs before actual closing. With banks having limited appointments , this made it very stressful getting things finalized.
