The level of unprofessionalism my husband and I experienced with this company in certain regards is the cause of the low rating provided. The escrow manager scolded us over the phone because of a personal appointment she was missing “for us”. She decided to give me a call at EOB and the evening before we were to sign our closing documents, and scold me for a lender related issue when I was not given prior notification though she stated “she had been waiting 2 days” for said documents from the lender. Not sure why she did not make the effort to call me and give me a heads up prior as we would have sorted out the issue calmly and in a timely manner without her having to “miss her appointment”. I believe escrow should have been a neutral party, however, we felt this company and particular escrow manager were only working for the seller and not the buyer. In addition, a couple of days prior to closing we were reaching out regarding closing costs and wire info., rather than being provided that information ahead of time by escrow. The only positive aspect of our experience was the polite and professional notary that arrived to our home very early to accommodate our work schedules, we appreciated him very much.

I was very concerned about the escrow process, especially due to the escrow company not being local. Nicole surpassed my expectations. She was always accessible and tried her hardest to get me answers to questions even if it was not necessarily her job. I really appreciated Nicole!
