David is just an all-around great guy. Knowledgeable and extremely thorough. It was an enjoyable process to walk through the home with him during his inspection. He will also give you real world advise on what a seemingly frightening inspection report come look like to someone who is just reading the report. I felt very comfortable making a decision on our home based on ValueGuard's report with Dave.

David was ok. He was thorough but had a bit of an attitude which I wasn't crazy about. His report was so long that it was hard to imagine which things are important.

Dave was excellent- thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He takes great pride in his work, and it's evident. He was patient and personable, not seeming to mind taking the extra time to include me or to discuss/explain his findings. He helped to remove a lot of the guesswork associated with buying an older home. By the time he finished the inspection, I had a hard time believing I had only met the guy just a few hours earlier. Most importantly, I felt confident putting my trust in him. I couldn't make it to the attic, but Dave gave me such a complete picture, it was as though I had seen it for myself. Absolute WORST!! Missed so many (obvious) issues and even got the roof wrong! House is uninhabitable and all Dave "focused" on were the appliances that I told him would be hitting the trash on day one.

David was good, polite and pretty extensive in his inspection of the property.

Dave had such great insight on the home and really helpful information throughout the inspection. He definitely knows what he is doing and I had piece of mind walking through the home with him.

Dave Bollinger is the best home inspector I have run across. I have had four home inspections completed and his was by far the most thorough and the best. He was very thorough and systematic. I also appreciated that he was was friendly and interactive. He provided feedback after the inspection and suggestions as to how to rectify some of the findings. His report was thorough and comprehensive. It was by the far the best inspection and most comprehensive report product I have received. I recommend him highly and will seek him out should I require a home inspection in the future.

We asked Dave to inspect two homes for us, including the one we purchased. In each case, his communication on-site and in the written report were vital to forming a clear picture of the virtues and potential pitfalls of each property. Most properties have some flaws. Dave made it much easier to estimate the severity and cost implications of these inevitable problems. His work had a big impact on the final price paid.
