It is always my goal to make my clients not just happy but truly thrilled with their mortgage experience. I want every client to feel they received the interest rate & loan program we had originally planned to use. Most of the time, that’s exactly what we deliver. There are times, however, when circumstances change with clients’ situations midstream & we no longer meet the underwriting criteria of that first loan program we’d discussed. In this case, when the circumstances changed and the clients weren’t happy with the options I presented them, we did all we could to be helpful in their exploration of other lenders. When they chose to come back to us, we closed their loan early. All in all, while the interest rate did end up higher than we had all originally expected, this was the result of a change we could not have foreseen & in the face of that, we provided excellent & professional service.
