MM&JP was easy to work with but sometimes needed follow up. On the day of closure, our real estate agent had to work with them to ensure the property was recorded before the weekend so that we could take possession.

Communication was good and requests, such as to arrange for a survey, were handled well. Once all parties were ready for closing, that event was smooth and efficient. Recorded deed was promptly received.

The settlement experience with Mann, McGibney & Jordan was quick, easy and to the point despite my Mortgage Company (Region) delaying the pay-off amount when requested in a timely matter, which required me to call them to complete the transaction. I was informed that one of the reasons for a delayed response had to do with my signature not matching.

Working with the attorney was a mixed bag. The closing itself went very smoothly but getting there was not easy. The individual assigned to us to guide us through the process so we could close was not easy to work with. There were numerous times we asked multiple questions and did not receive an answer to the questions or there was answer for only one of the questions. There were times when the answer given had no relevance to the questions being asked. But the worst part was getting the title work. The attorney's office made several promises to USAA regarding when the title work would be sent to the lender. Three times they promised a date and did not deliver; including one instance where the office closed. And after we received the title work it was incorrect and needed to be fixed. Aside from the actual closing it was a rough experience.
