Very professional and well knowledgeable with the Closing Process.

The whole team at Lakeside was extremely responsive, conscientious, knowledgeable, and efficient. Meg was particularly competent at the closing and we appreciated how she explained each document and got us in and out of closing in a very timely manner. We were impressed with Lakeside Title and will use them again should the opportunity arise.

Buyer needed to reschedule closing numerous times. Lakeside were flexible and on the one occasion I called for an update it was supplied.

Lakeside Title team members are all pros. Considering COVID19 pandemic, it was sometimes difficult to get hold of team members.

Lakeside is thorough for buyers and sellers. However, they go over all the paperwork at closing with both of us at the table, which is not ideal time-wise. Closing takes a lot of time when both parties must be available and explained financial disclosures and particulars with all involved. I'd recommend finding a title service that schedules closing in a staggered manner to use both buyer and seller time more efficiently. Other than that, they were professional and thorough just not mindful of how some of us don't need to be there to see the other party sign papers that are not pertinent to us.

Overall very satisfied with a relatively quick closing (for Maryland). There was a title issue due to a refinance with a local bank that was improperly filed (by the bank, not Lakeside) that took a little time to track down and an extra point of stress, but was ultimately corrected in time for closing.

Title services were customary - it's hard to distinguish the actual service received. The low score is provided for two reasons: First - I was told I would have to pay $92 to pre-sign my sale documents (if I wanted to skip the in-person closing). Second - it is the year 2016 -- during the closing, I asked for a "soft copy" (electronic scanned copy) of the final sale documents. I was given a gigantic folder filled with legal paper (8.5"x14") instead. I mentioned I had asked for a soft copy, and asked if it would be emailed to me (since I had to provide my email address several times). I was told that the paper copy was soft (maybe they meant floppy). I told them I wanted a scanned copy, and they said "oh, we don't do that." That is ridiculous.
