We were a tricky case - self-employed and an adjunct prof, on a super-tight timeline. LoAnn and her associate Michelle Locken worked tirelessly with the underwriters to get our loan approved for closing, and we closed on time with a great loan. If I had to do it all over again - which I hope I won't anytime soon - I would recommend making an appointment with your lender to review strategy for closing. Underwriters have a very intense set of regulations and I think we could have helped out LoAnn and reduced our own stress if we had strategized together a bit more.
