We were shocked by the exhausting and out-dated home closing process encountered when we bought and sold our homes. This experience ignited an ambitious goal: to fundamentally change home closing by simplifying and digitizing it.

Modus signing rep was extremely off putting and surly, kinda a downer on the day of signing. Also they had the wrong set of paperwork for us to sign so we ended up having to call to confirm some numbers that were different and they weren't confirmed until after we left the office. we provided an address 2x for the sale of the house check to be sent to and they ended up sending it to the old address of the house we just sold. Would recommend they do some more due diligence

Modus did a great job and was diligent in helping us in all stages of the process. We would just say that some information should be more consistent between them. We had two working days for our earnest money to be transferred to the sellers account. They gave us different information on how to do the transfer (check or wire) and we almost missed the deadline. Other than that little scare, everything went smoothly from there on.
