New Venture Escrow

Its unfortunate the customer feels this way. She had an appointment on a Monday morning to have her grant deed notarized. She emailed over the weekend asking us to have a settlement statement ready for her by Monday at 8:30AM. We open at 8:30AM and so did not have an opportunity to work on it prior to her arrival. To accommodate her request we made it a priority to have it done for her in the next hour. There was a delay in closing for 2-3 days because we did not receive the loan documents from the buyer’s lender in time to make the closing day. That is unfortunately not within the escrow holder’s control. While it is unclear where a perceived lack of communication is, its understandable that clients don’t know all the steps needed in order to close and disburse a transaction.
