I worked with Nancy at the Encino office. Escrow was on time and very smooth. I had an initial appointment to provide original signatures on documents, the remainder of escrow was handled with email/scanned signatures - which made things very fast/easy for me.

I received a packet of documents in the mail to sign and return to West Coast Escrow. I could have done a better job reading the instructions but the first thing I noticed was that a form needed to be signed in the presence of a Notary Public. I set up a meeting with West Coast Escrow and went to their office to complete this packet. I arrived early and must have gotten there just as the receptionist went on a long break as it took just under 30 minutes sitting in the front near the receptionist desk for anyone to notice me (15-20 minutes past my appointment time). The agent helping me fill out paperwork appeared to be a little miffed that I was filling everything out there, which is understandable -but not expected or acceptable when you are paying them for such help.

Average experience. All the fees did not seem to be adequately disclosed despite my inquiries. Average service level.

We didn't close but the escrow company was able to get the association FHA approved with the help of Security 1 Lending.

The team at West Coast Escrow was very responsive and worked well with our bank.

The escrow officer made many mistakes on our transaction and never as much as apologized to us. The manager in the office and the Regional Manager followed up with us in a very professional manner, however the damage had already been done and therefore I could not ever refer anyone to this company as the most important person was the actual officer handling the deal and this was a horrific experience from beginning to end.
