Thank you for the feedback. We are saddened by your unpleasant experience. We understand you are upset by the delays and by the costs associated with repairs to the home prior to closing. Unfortunately, we are unable to close on a property that has significant mold issues without remediation. Aside from being a health hazard, Fannie Mae guidelines prevent us from doing so. The intent of the guideline is to protect home buyers from the issues associated with occupying a property that is hazardous. Had we known upfront the home had mold we would have been sure to let you know the mold needed to be remediated prior to closing. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this may have cause.
