Across multiple transactions, I have never been satisfied with any title company's performance. Chicago Title was no different. Multiple paperwork errors, lack of communication, clunky emails that made it unnecessarily difficult to read and respond to things. Par for the course for this industry, which is to say a thoroughly mediocre experience. I can't think of another industry that needs to be disrupted by newer, nimbler competitors that can get things done faster, more conveniently, more transparently, and at a lower cost than the title/escrow industry.
