We received the breakdown figures for closing for someone else’s property via email from Lawyer’s Title. When I left a message inquiring where our closing figures were so we could take a look before the next day’s closing, I received them from Redfin (passed along from Lawyer’s Title). I never received an explanation as to the mistake. If it had been my information sent to someone else I would have been very upset. Shouldn’t someone be double checking to make sure this doesn’t happen? The closing went fine. All was in order for that.

Not an issue under normal circumstances, but in COVID times, this makes a difference. The other party in our transaction came in without masks and the closer never asked them to put them on despite the sign on the door stating they are required for entry. We proceeded to have to sit close quarters to sign everything and in that we were trying to ask some questions, felt uneasy being the party that had to ask them to mask. Just make the whole situation (that otherwise would feel great) uncomfortable.
