The team at the Chicago Title company was great! We really appreciate all of the hard work everyone put into our quick closing of our new home.

I don’t know if the staff had changed but they made closing very stressful this time. They kept changing how we could close. Would say things like we can’t sign early (even though they originally told us we could) but then if we paid more money we could come in on a Saturday. Back and forth on allowing us to sign elsewhere because my husband had already moved. Couldn’t guarantee funds for 5days. They were completely dismissive of our Title Company for our purchase in another state. In the end everything worked out but it was incredibly stressful!

Not a single problem and quick and very responsive. Contacted me at all milestones and kept me in the loop.

Chicago Title kept us informed of every step that needed to be taken care of once that were involved. They even sat on the phone while we filled out forms and made sure that we understood everything and explained what it all meant.

Was very disappointed with the Escrow Closer, Cassandra Mitchell, employee of Chicago Title, she came across as arrogant and self righteous. There were mistakes in the closing figures which I brought to the attention of the assistant closer, she brought Cassandra in who did not bother to be with us during the closing process, which I also found unprofessional. however her comments to me were, no my figures are correct, I asked if she would call for an update while we were there, her comment "No", I asked how we would get back the addition funds her comment well you will have to call the mortgage company. We had to wait an additional 6 weeks and jump thru several hoops to receive the additional funds from the loan company which was approximately $2000. Very disappointed with the escrow agent. Not to say Chicago Title is bad because we had another transaction where a different agent was great. The lack of respect shown by Cassandra was appalling.
