Worldwide Settlements

On several occasions during the closing process, my realtor and I found ourselves having to repeat instructions or details to different associates at Worldwide Settlements. They struck me as disorganized and not comprehending most of what we had explained to them several times over.

Overall our dealings with them went smoothly. Only recommendation would be to make all the docs electronic like other title companies. It's a bit antiquated and cumbersome to have to print, sign/fill out, and then scan it back to them.

They made virtual signing easy.

Michelle Timmerman was very clear and explained every document correctly. She did an amazing job at settlement!!!!

Worldwide Settlements went the extra mile and delivered closing documents to the Seller at his home.

I would not recommend Worldwide Settlement's services. As I was the home seller, I did not select this closing company. The home buyer selected this closing company. The closing was professional and efficient. Although, communications with the company is problematic. Introduction email was sent to the re-estate agent and was not forwarded. The first communication with this company was a request for my social security number. The company did not have a good answer on how they are protecting personal information other than it is behind a firewall and password protected. As a prior victim of identity theft, I did not feel confident this company put protection of personal information as essential part of operating a settlement company. Fees were not disclosed in advance. The company operates as if the employees are attempting to remain anonymous. The company uses a email collective and it is difficult to figure out who you are communicating with. Employees were reluctant to even provide a first name in phone conversations.

Too many last minute requests for needed documents. Sending email requests ASAP at the last minute. It would be easier it seems to me to try and reach clients directly via phone or text. Everyone doesn't sit in front of a computer monitoring email.

All the paperwork was in order and we got a copy for our records.

Hard to evaluate a title company. They did have one blatant typo in the address on one page, but generally par for the course.

The services they provided as the seller, no issues encountered.

They were very efficient and forthcoming with information.

Company does not offer e-signatures and online paperwork to complete closing and settlement procedures, which is offered by several other companies. This requires you to be present in-person during settlement, which can be challenge if you are out of town.

It was an awesome experience with the Representative from Worldwide Settlements. Everything was explain to me with accuracy. He was very knowledgeable of his presentation.

Worldwide Settlements was AMAZING up until closing day. They were late to my closing appointment by an hour and a half. They told us that the esquire was in route and after waiting for 45 minutes we learned they were not in route. They dropped the ball on the most important day and almost caused us to miss our moving company! Great company up until the last day.
