Lori worked with us remotely and in person to find the perfect home for us. She listened and cared about our happiness and satisfaction. She was responsive, knowledgeable and personable. Definitely knows what she’s doing. She also loves what she does and that shows. The other thing she did was help us find even better VA loan terms than we’d already negotiated on our own! That saved us thousands. I cannot recommend Lori highly enough and thank goodness that someone else recommended her to us.

Our experience with Lori started off on a positive note as she was very accommodating with scheduling home viewings, especially considering we had small children with us. However, things quickly went downhill once we began the buying process for our home. Lori made numerous mistakes that caused significant issues and financial strain for us. She forgot to check off items included in the home ad, such as a hot tub, which resulted in us having to pay over $4,000 out of pocket. Despite her assurances that this was something she could recover for us, it never happened. During our home inspection, Lori initially told us that we would receive $1,800 for a new fridge, but then came back saying it was only $1,500. She then stated that $1,500 was the maximum allowable for that document, which made us question why she allowed us to request $1,800 in the first place. At closing, Lori forgot to include the credit for our refrigerator, and we are still waiting for that reimbursement. She told my family she would cover the amount herself, but later pushed the seller to pay, after being advised by her broker manager to not contact the seller. When it came time for her to pay out of her own pocket, she protested because, in her words, she works for profit. Additionally, Lori tried to increase her commission percentage without notifying us, only to backtrack by saying, “Well, I guess I’ll take the 2% being offered if it helps you get this home,” as if she was doing us a favor. She also pressured us during an open house to offer the full asking price of the home, which added unnecessary pressure during an already stressful process. In the end, Lori's idea of thanking us for enduring all the stress, anxiety, and her repeated failures was by giving us Crumbl Cookies. This gesture felt dismissive, given the extent of the issues we faced. From our experience, it’s clear that Lori is more focused on her commission than on ensuring her clients find their dream home or feel secure in their purchase. She did not take responsibility for her mistakes and did not prioritize our family's best interests. Once you sign a contract with her, which lasts a year from the first viewing, it feels like you’re stuck. Our experience with Lori has left us with a negative impression not just of her but of the real estate profession in general. If you’re looking for a realtor who truly cares about your needs and will work diligently and transparently on your behalf, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
