I am about a month late on this review because I’ve been setting up our brand new house, brought to us by Robert Davenport! As first time home buyers, my husband and I started this process with an idea of what we wanted, but without a clue of how to get there. Luckily, Robert stepped in to lead the way. At our very first meeting, Robert took time to get to know us and to help us figure out what elements of a home were important to us. He put us in a group chat and customized an entire list of homes that fit our criteria. From there he visited several homes with us until we found “the one”. The market is currently entirely a seller’s paradise, so we found a couple homes we liked and got beat with the offers. Robert consistently encouraged us through the hard parts and never once pushed us to go over our personal budget, instilling in us the belief that the perfect home, at the perfect price was out there for us, no matter how many obstacles may arise. Even right down to the inspections, Robert was in our corner. We thought we found the perfect home early on, and Robert suggested a sewer scope, which isn’t common or required for inspections. Robert saved us from $14,000 worth of damage that would have needed immediate replacement. He went to bat for us in the presence of sellers and always made sure we remained protected. Robert also made the process much easier by introducing us to our broker. We were originally comparison shopping in the broker field and were feeling really disregarded by our top pick, and Robert redirected us to the best broker we could have asked for, saving us, yet again, from another disaster. Bottom line: Robert Davenport is hands down the best realtor out there, and the best possible friend to have on your side during the home buying process. I know without a doubt that when we decide to upgrade our home or invest in a second property, that it’ll be Robert representing us again. Robert Davenport truly changed our lives and we are eternally grateful. Thank You Robert!
