The experience was horrible. The closing agent didn't review the forms that we had sent many weeks before, so the closing agent came to the pre-signing cold for a 1031 IRS exchange. Because the 1031 forms weren't reviewed, we were surprised to learn that we had to come up with $35k within a day so as not to have a tax liability (which a 1031 exchange avoids). Nice people at Bayview, just not up to the task for our closing.
