This was the third closing settlement that I have been through. It was also the smoothest.

They were horrible with communication. They had information about our title that our old mortgage was still on the title for 7 weeks and only then let us know a week in advance. Then didnt do the work to contact the company or tell our realtor about the problem. They texted my husband to tell him of the issue. When we contacted the old mortgage company we were told the title company was supposed to request information from them. Once she had information she was still.asking us for information not telling us what she had and what more she needed. I had to contact the bank and have to have them tell me what was going on. Literally the 11th hour things got straightened out but she put a stress on us that was unnecessary...luckily SHE was not at the settlement table. Melissa was horrible.
