This is the second time my wife and I have worked with Ahmad. He helped us find our first home and his experience helped us win over the seller even though we had a lower offer that other buyers. Most recently, he helped us sell it that same house. Ahmad always makes time to thoroughly explain certain details to us, such as real estate jargon in contracts. Above all, he never pressures us to put an offer on a house that we don't really like. (growing up I saw some real estate agents pressure my parents to putting offers on houses they didn't like)

Ahmad was my Redfin agent for both buying and selling. Honestly, he is a really nice guy but I would not use/recommend his service. I was so disappointed with his incompetence, lack of professionalism, lack of punctuality, and lack of clear communication. Also he failed to represent my interest and giving false information to the seller's agent. Even the lender that he recommended was horrible. Ahmad as a selling agent, is indolent and unreliable. First of all, he didn't write a description of home (About This Home). Apparently, he was just too lazy to write a new one, so he just copied and pasted it from the previous sale. He said he used the same one because it was a nice writing. However, I made a ton of upgrades throughout the house - non of them were mentioned in a description.... Show More

He was very helpful during and post-sale in both cases, acting as an effective go-between with the buyers and their agents and, in the second case, dealing with some thorny interpersonal issues on the seller end. In terms of improvement, he could have been more aggressive on pricing. In both cases, his recommendations were low. This led to the houses selling almost immediately but perhaps at considerably less than they might have brought.

He was helpful in finding a mortgage broker and getting things moving when I did decide on purchase. BUT....I did not like the excuses made for the faults I found. For example, the neighbors property was almost a derelict and when I asked, he said to speak to the home association about it. I told him, "no, YOU go and speak to the association about it, I have not bought the property yet".

Redfin has an extremely streamlined process and I like how it is set-up such that their is not s conflict of interest for agents to try and up sell you homes, etc. The whole experience with Redfin and Ahmad was wonderful and easy.
