Throughout our experience with Christopher, he persisted in attempting to prevent my 92 year old father's Power of Attorney from representing him in the sale of his home. After being told numerous times that the POA would be attending settlement and signing all documents, Christopher still sent a deed package and repeatedly requested that it be completed ahead of time - and that documents be signed by my father rather than by his POA. He even went so far as to tell the POA that if the deed package were completed ahead of time he could check everything to make sure settlement would go smoothly because he would be on vacation and not present. In transactions involving power of attorney, at times, a title company will request that a deed package be present for the transaction. I always try to educate my customers on the buying process while keeping an open line of communication throughout the relationship. While I was unable to attend the closing in person due to a previously scheduled vacation, I made arrangements to have an experienced colleague attended the closing in my place to ensure that all went smoothly. I use my over 15 years of experience to help educate and guide my clients and get them the best possible results. In this instance my client wanted to make settlement in less than 30 days. In the real estate market it is sometimes difficult to make this happen. I worked with his lender and we did close in 30 days, however my client was not happy and thought I should have done more to get his lender to close sooner. Chris was amazing. This was my first experience buying a house and Chris was completely sympathetic to that. While I had done my research and was knowledgeable of what I was looking for, Chris didn't overwhelm me with issues I did not have to be concerned with.
