I had interviewed three other agents and wasn't feeling confident with any of them. When I interviewed Gerene, there was an immediate comfortability with her. She presented how she would market the house, and gave me a timeline of how things would progress. Even though as we left the initial meeting with her we had not agreed to have her sell the house, within two hours she had sent multiple contacts for staging and cleaning. Gerene, stepped in and got us back on track, her dedication and advise was crucial on a difficult situation. She gave us the tools needed to get our home sold and went above and beyond. Gerene was consistently, communicating with us. We had some difficulty with the buyer at the end of the sale, this was not nothing from Gerene but the lack of communication from the buyer realitor. She stepped in and took ownership and found middle ground for us to come to an agreement. I would highly recommend Gerene to my family, friends and anyone looking to sell their. Gerene's confidence, support, knowledge, skill, patience, doggedness, and compassion during our FIVE month transaction kept us sane and calm throughout the process. From our initial meeting when we discovered the our first choice wouldn't be ready until 2023, through our first retracted offer, through two more rejected offers, and then working with the seller's agent to keep our contingent offer live while we waited nearly two months past initial closing, Gerene worked miracles for us -- and that's only the work my wife and I saw. Gerene was fantastic! While we had purchased a home before, we didn't have a great experience with our agent and turned to Redfin this time to help with the process. Gerene was available whenever we needed her and would answer any question we had. She even entertained us changing our minds for 24hrs. as we decided to look at condos, and helped nudge us along as we quickly discovered that's not what we wanted at this point in our life.
