As first time home sellers, we weren't sure how complicated the process would be compared to buying for the first time. Jake did a great job working with us to narrow down our wide scope of housing options. He was patient with us throughout the process when we were not really sure what we wanted. In the end, we ended up with a great house with all our highlighted desires and within our budget. He is also super knowledgeable about the various processes of real estate and quite the savvy about construction details and renovation options. Despite all the general stresses of buying a house, Jake was a great help and a reliable agent.

Jake was wonderful. We were out of state clients and he worked with us via telephone and emails -- always accommodating our travel schedule -- always arranging for us to tour the homes we wanted to see when we came into town. He met with us personally for all but one viewing and even then he made all the arrangements for a colleague to assist. He would preview the homes with us via Skype and helped save us a lot of time and money. Highly recommend him and would happily work with him again. We bought our current home with Redfin and will be selling it via Redfin and purchased this new property with Redfin. We are very happy Redfin clients.

He was very good with email and phone communication with the issues that happen with the seller between the contract negotiations and the closing. Jake was able to give us advice regarding how and what offer to make in the house. We are delighted that Redfin has entered the Indianapolis area market. It's long overdue that a new business model is now available to challenge an old, stodgy and outdated commission-driven real estate firm that has dominated that market and feels entitled to a 7% commission. Jake Johnson was our Redfin realtor and performed admirably. We were the first Redfin listing in Indianapolis and were something of an experiment. Jake was consummately polite and professional and managed us through what turned out to be a difficult transaction, although we went into escrow after only 24 days (a tribute to Redfin's marketing prowess). The bottom line is that we quickly sold our house for 98% of it's listing price and was able to get on with our new life in our new state and city. Jake was great.
