Markee is very calm, knowledgeable, and communicates concisely. I really appreciated his style and never had to wonder how things were going, he did a great job selling my home. Markee and Redfin worked great for me and I would absolutely recommend him and Redfin in the future. I truly see no reason to use any of the traditional agencies and don't see how they actually earn their higher percentages, since I got a lot of value from Redfin and actually seem like the minimum bar to provide the level of service expected. Traditional agencies cannot compete. Strongly suggest that you write your agreement so that the sellers agent fee is limited to match the RedFin fee % (or less, since they truly do very little as compared to Redfin).

Many thanks to Redfin and especially to Markee Lashley. Thanks to him our first experience with selling our home was great. I will admit, I was skeptical initially in hiring Markee and Redfin because I wasn't sure if they would give me the support that other companies that charge twice as much would. All we heard from other agents was," you get what you pay for." I will tell you this, even though Redfin charges less to list your house they will come through for you!!! At his first visit, we could feel we are all covered by his care, like market analysis, current market trend, advice for the price decision, procedures etc. His team was very efficient and smooth. You can check all the procedures from the redfin dashboard. I was so amazed by the team's effort like taking photos, taking 3D walkthrough, poster and so on. Everything was so nicely and professionally done.
And Markee was calling often to discuss the viewing feedback and market trends.

Markee did not live up to our expectation for a Redfin agent. He was the primary point of contact to whom we gave the information about our upscale community and about our home. This information did not appear to be passed on to those who wrote the all important sales details for the listing. Markee did not provide us with timely info about the feedback from the showing agents until we demanded it. There was also a mix up in the asking price we set, which was discovered when there was an offer. When the buyers were responding slowly Markee did not contact the other buyer's agents to tell them that backup offers were welcome. Throughout he seemed unsure of himself and of his responsibilities.

Markee handled the trust sale of my parent's home for me. I am a licensed Realtor but I am also the Trustee so I was not allowed to list it myself so I hired Markee to be my listing agent. Markee did a stellar job for us, he and his Transaction Coordinator Alexa communicated well, kept me up to date on how things wer progressing and when we had difficulty with the first buyer losing his job in the 11th hour and backing out, Markee quickly put the home back on the market and we got an even better offer right away.
