Nathan has a bunch of contacts/resources that are very helpful when doing a renovation. We worked with Nathan over 10 years ago when buying our last home. He is easy to work with and not pushy. He is patient and talks things through. Sometimes we felt he was not on our side, but gave good perspective on the seller. He did have good insights of what is going on in the industry and what we could expect. Nathan is great! He is very knowledgeable and patient. For each house we visited, he can always tell you the pros and cons of this house, and what target price we should set. He never pushed you to buy any house, and didn't mind if you would like to visit the same house twice or a third time. He is also very professional, never judge you by your budget. We visited lots of properties with a wide price range before we found our current house, and he has been happy to arrange tours for these houses.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Nathan and the entire Redfin team. Nathan faithfully shepherded us through our first home-buying disaster and victory. The first home we put in an offer for was accepted in a bidding war based on Nathan's suggestion to submit an escalating offer (ask your Redfin agent about these if you get into a bidding war). Though the offer was accepted, the seller ultimately found a loophole to cancel the deal. Turns out she was made another offer outside of the bidding war that was much higher than the submitted bids. Nate is thoughtful, thorough, and professional and has a great deal of patience with the process. He'll give you his informed opinion even if it complicates a sale. (For instance, he helped us dodge a very large bullet with a house purchase by saying he thought there was likely even more things wrong with it than we could see, this saving us from a huge financial burden-indeed the house later sold for 80k less than we'd offered because of numerous undisclosed problems). He's always thinking of the long term. We worked with him over a two year period on the sale of our condo in a difficult market and think very highly of him.

Nate was helpful when we were negotiating the contract and he was accurate in his assessment of a target price to aim for. We were able to buy the house for our target price, which was well below the list price. He was easy to work with. He was also helpful in providing references for work we wanted done on the house (inspector and floor refinishing). Our communication with him and in turn the sellers agent broke down as we neared closing and tried to work out a last minute issue with the seller's real estate agent.

It took us a while to find the right home. Nate never pushed us during the whole process. He's always available when we need to tour properties and promptly replied emails, questions, etc. There are a couple of times when he can't tour homes with us, he sent other agents to work with us. So we always got to see homes as soon as we wanted. We also appreciate his honest opinions very much. Nate has been a great help and pleasure to work with. Wonderful job!

Nate was great to work with! We had a very good experience with Redfin and Nate in particular. We got access to all the MLS data and it was easy to search and pick houses that we were interested in and make appointments when it was convenient for us to tour.
Nate has a very laid back style but was always on top of things and quick to get information and respond to questions. He had good insights on the houses we saw and great recommendations on inspectors, lawyers, brokers and trades people.
We had a number of bumps on the road to closing and Nate helped us through everything with as little stress as possible. We would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Nate was super helpful throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond, for example, during contract negotiations he helped communicate with the sellers agent as the sellers attorney was not responsive. He has great understanding of home values in the north shore area. We were searching for a fixer-upper and Nate educated us on what to look for and then provided great contacts who are now helping with our renovation. He was readily available via phone and email. Nate helped us put multiple offers on houses, and the RedFin experience allowed us to sign contracts while on the go. Overall, great experience working with Nate.

Nate was a fantastic realtor. We were very cautious buyers, and Nate was patient, very responsive and always had valuable insight. During the home buying process, we saw one home which was obviously going to sell quickly, Nate was able to get us in on day 1, and get the offer submitted the same night....we were the first offer in, in what turned out to be a multiple bid situation.
