Shannon helped us buy our first house in Long Beach, CA. Shannon was very direct, honest, and upfront about the process, our best positions in negotiations, and what to expect at any given moment. Shannon was reachable at all times, answering texts and emails even when we thought we wouldn’t get an answer until the next business day. She negotiated a great deal for us, and negotiated a sellers credit for repairs in a very hot market. Liz, Shannon’s transaction coordinator, made the paperwork part of the deal very easy and straight forward. We cannot thank Shannon, Liz, and the entire team for getting us into our first house! We will be back for when it’s time to trade up out of our starter home.

Very honest and upfront about realities concerning cost, competitive offers, and what to expect along each step of the process. Was often responsive to questions well outside of expected work hours, even when I wasn't anticipating an answer until the following business day. Shannon was directly involved in not one, but TWO consecutive successful house offers from first-time homebuyers, something unheard of in this current market. A powerhouse all around and well-deserving of her positive reputation.

She sounded great and promising with the very first call. Came for the first viewing and another one little later. Being a first time home buyer, we did ask a few questions to understand how the process is. She answered whatever questions we asked but never enlightened us with what we should watch out for. She took only a little interest in what we really wanted to accomplish with our home buying goal. When it came to communication, most of the time we kept wondering whether she has taken care of what we requested for or whether we will get an answer as she wasn't great in acknowledging even after couple of hours or after a day. Not sure because of company training or anything changed, her communication got better in the last few weeks just before our offer got selected though. She could be more aggressive because if she calls or text the listing agent she would wait for their reply forever unless we ask her to followup. Also during the inspection contingency phase, when we wanted to get credit for a few things in the house that we were buying, she said "we should keep in mind that the sellers have already mentioned that there are no repairs, we can still ask for repairs but we need to make sure that we don't rub them on the wrong side". But when she reached out to listing agent, he suggested to ask little higher so that we could get the actual credit we wanted. If not for the listing agent we wouldn't have gotten the credit that we wanted which was already less for the amount of work we had to do with the home. Having said that if you are a seasoned buyer because of your prior experience you could take her help in just closing the deal if you really want to. If you are a first time buyer and if you are willing to do all the grunt work by yourself for any home you are interested in and/or ask every single question that comes to your mind to her and get clarified then you could take her help in just closing the deal IF NOT find a better one. We appreciate that she helped us with the whole process but if you are looking for someone who is aggressive and could really help you then you should look for someone else.
